About Philip

Philip Klonowski is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). He views therapy as a journey of the individual to grow and develop as they feel necessary.  Philip finds being allowed to walk that journey with the individual both a blessing and an honor.  It is through the development of a therapeutic relationship and establishing trust that Philip is allowed to join with the individuals he helps.

Philip received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an Emphasis in Addictions Counseling and a Minor in Philosophy from Pittsburg State University.  He continued his education at John Brown University receiving a Master’s of Science in both Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy.

Along with his education Philip has gained experience over the past several years working with addiction in both adults and adolescents.  While working Philip learned to utilize a Dialectical Behavior Therapy perspective and practices working to build healthy coping skills and healthy relationships.  Philip also brings with him a systems approach that puts an emphasis that what we surround ourselves with impacts who we are.
