The struggle
Group therapy is a well-researched and proven environment for fostering safe and effective corrective experiences. Within the context of secure relationships that are fostered in a group, participants can process specific struggles, traumas, or other issues and receive relational feedback and resources to help them cope and grow.
The strategy
Our therapists have worked within and facilitated groups in various settings, both for processing events and issues (process groups) as well as for education regarding specific stages of life, traumas, and other struggles we all may encounter along the way. Groups we have led include those for addiction (sexual, drug and alcohol), divorce, sexual identity and development, and grief and loss.
The solution
We are interested in providing groups specific to your needs. Whether you have gone through a recent change or loss (divorce or death of a loved one, for example), are interested in personal growth and development, or are dealing with a specific issue (i.e., addiction, identity and intimacy struggles), processing and healing the heart within a safe group of like-minded and like-hearted peers can be immensely helpful.
